LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION COURSES

The YMCA is pleased to offer comprehensive Lake Geneva lifeguarding courses that include the necessary CPR/AED training you need to become a Red Cross certified lifeguard.  2-year certification. Classes fill quickly, so early registration is recommended. You must attend each class in a course and pass a written and skills exam to achieve certification. Must be 15 years old to attend. Apr 28 | 5:30 - 9 pm - Classroom
Apr 29 | 8 am -5 pm - Classroom & Water Skills
Apr 30 | 12:30 -5:30 pm - Classroom & Water Skills
May 3 | 5:30 - 9 pm - Classroom & Water Skills
Fees: Member $200 | Community $250
Must attend all dates to achieve certification.

Summer Courses: 

Session One:
May 22-24
Mon-Wed | 8 am - 5:30 pm

Session Two:
June 12-14
Mon-Wed | 8 am - 5:30 pm

Session Three:
August 14-16
Mon-Wed | 8 am - 5:30 pm

Fees for Summer Sessions: Member $225 | Community $275
Must attend entire session to achieve certification.

CPR, FIRST AID & AED CERTIFICATIONS

Learn to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies, and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate valid for 2 years.
