Two great ways to learn...blended or non-blended

The YMCA is pleased to offer comprehensive Lake Geneva lifeguarding courses that include the necessary CPR/AED training you need to become a Red Cross certified lifeguard. To offer some flexibility, we do offer both online and classroom learning (blended learning) or strictly non-blended (classroom only) instruction.  Classes fill quickly, so early registration is recommended. You must attend each class in a course and pass a written and skills exam to achieve certification. Must be 15 years old to attend. Register at the Y, online, or call 262.248.6211.

Blended Learning Partially Online
(Note: due to the structure of this class there is an online pre-class assignment. It is important to register at least 7-10 days before this class to have the pre-class assignment complete prior to the first class.)

Blended learning meets:
Thursday 5:30-9:30 pm | Saturday 8:30 am-6:30 pm | Sunday 12:30-6:30 pm

Select from one of these following sessions (attendance mandatory for all three classes):
May 16,18,19 | July 25,27,28 | Sept 12,14,15

Non-Blended (traditional classroom)

Non-blended learning requires you to attend all three classes in person. This session is only offered on:
May 20,21,22 | June 10,11,12 from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm each day.
