FULL LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION COURSES
The YMCA is pleased to offer comprehensive Lake Geneva lifeguarding courses that include the necessary CPR/AED training you need to become a Red Cross certified lifeguard. Classes fill quickly, so early registration is recommended. You must attend each class in a course and pass a written and skills exam to achieve certification. Must be 15 years old to attend. Register at the Y, online, or call 262.248.6211.
Sept: Blended Learning Partial Online (note: due to the structure of this class there is an online pre-class assignment of approximately seven hours. It is important to register by Sept 6 for this class to have the pre-class assignment complete prior to the first class.)
Sept 13 | 5:30-9:30 pm & Sept 15 | 9am-6pm & Sept 16 | 12 noon – 6pm

LIFEGUARD Review COURSES/RECERTIFICATION
Must currently be Red Cross Lifeguard Certified to participate. Classes are continually offered throughout the year.

Adult & Pediatric FIRST AID & CPR/AED CERTIFICATIONS
Learn to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies, and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate valid for 2 years.
