Job Title: Athletic Field Maintenance Worker

Position Summary

Under direction from the Sports Operations Director, will prepare and maintain athletic fields for league games during the week as well as weekend tournaments. 

Under the supervision and guidance of the School Age Child Care & Preschool Director, Care Staff are responsible for providing safe, supportive, and engaging care for children enrolled in the YMCA’s Wrap Around Care and Y BASE programs at Turtle Creek Elementary School. This position supports children before and after school during the academic year and includes participation in YMCA School Day Out Camps.

This is a part-time, school-year position, with schedules typically ranging from 10–25 hours per week, depending on role and availability.

Typical Hours:

• Morning Care: 6:00 or 6:30 AM – 8:45 AM
• Afternoon Care: 3:45 PM – 6:00 PM

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Youth & Family Director, and in accordance with Association policies, the Child Watch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations and staff of the Child Watch area, as well as providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Child Watch hours 7:30 AM to Noon and 4:15 to 7:30PM. The ideal canidate will work at least one shift 5 days weekly. 

Under the direction of the Child Watch Coordinator, the Child Watch Staff are responsible for providing safe and nurturing child care for all children entering the YMCA Child Watch in harmony with the mission statement and policies of the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA. Monday and Tuesday AM. 8:15 - noon, some evenings to sub if available.

We are looking for an energetic fitness professional able to assist our Fitness Director in operating the Wellness Department. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Interacts with new and existing members to help them in achieving their health and well-being goals. Creates a welcoming environment for all members of all backgrounds and abilities. Free family YMCA membership for applicants household if hired. 

Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. We are looking for an energetic Personal Trainer who can help assist in the operations of the Wellness Department. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This fitness professional interacts with new and existing members to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. This Personal Trainer creates a welcoming environment for all members of all backgrounds and abilities. Need for evening and weekend trainers. Free family YMCA membership for applicants household if hired. 

Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Youth & Family Director and/or the School Age Child Care and Camp Director, the School Age Child & Preschool Care Site Coordinator is responsible for the daily supervision, coordination, and implementation of the YMCA’s Y BASE and Wrap Around Care programs at Turtle Creek Elementary School, as well as YMCA School Day Out programming.

This leadership role ensures a safe, engaging, and high-quality program environment that supports children’s academic, social, and emotional development while maintaining compliance with YMCA policies, licensing requirements, and grant expectations.

Under the supervision and guidance of Camp Director, the Day Camp Counselor is responsible for providing leadership, ensuring the safety of all participants, and direct supervision of children in all planned activities. Camp location is at Eastview Elementary School, Lake Geneva.
