Facilities - Custodian | Evening 7PM - 11PM

Description:
The Part-Time Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for members, program participants, staff, and guests. This position performs routine custodial duties, assists with facility upkeep, and supports the YMCA's commitment to providing a positive member experience. A detailed daily checklist of cleaning duties will be followed.
Requirements:
- Cleaning all areas of the building within realm of responsibility.
- Cleaning cardio and weight equipment.
- Dusting and detail cleaning.
- Vacuuming carpeted areas.
- Toilet and shower scrubbing and sanitizing.
- Informing supervisor of cleaning supply inventory and supplies needed.
- Snow removal from sidewalks, entrances, emergency exits. Salting the sidewalks, entrances and parking lot handicap spots as needed.
- Landscaping help on all YMCA property.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
- One to two years related experience preferred.
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
1. Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds and use various floor cleaning machines.
