Description:
Manage the Concession Stand at Veterans Park. Provide quality customer service, food, drink, and a positive experience for all while enjoying baseball/softball activities daily and on the weekends.
Requirements:
Oversees all Veteran’s Park concession stand operations as stated in the agreement with the City of Lake Geneva and the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA. Must be available to supervise when open.
Develop a department budget.
Supervise and motivate concession team members to achieve sales revenues.
Hire and train concessions employees in their assigned job responsibilities.
Organize concession events and ensure that each station is stocked and staffed.
Assist in inventory management and control activities.
Oversee cash management tasks and prepare cash and sales reports as needed.
Educate staff on YMCA policies and procedures.
Conduct performance evaluation and provide feedback for improvements.
Deliver and motivate staff in quality customer service at all times.
Follow and enforce, state and local regulations.
Assist in acquiring all needed permits.
All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Concessionaire experience preferred, flexible schedule.
Minimum age of 21.
Typical requirements within 60 days of hire include completion of Child Abuse Prevention; Adult and Pediatric CPR, First Aid & AED; Bloodborne Pathogens.
