When you join the YMCA, you belong to something that is so much more than “just” a Lake Geneva gym. We exist to strengthen the community. Together, with people like you, we nurture the potential of kids, help people to understand and improve their health, and provide opportunities to give back and support our community. We offer the flexibility of several membership types to best meet your family situation.

What to Bring to Become a Member
Membership is easy! Just visit the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA and bring your Driver's License and banking information. Membership is drawn from a savings or checking account the 1st or 15th of the month...your choice! If you would like to come with a completed membership application you can complete the form below and bring it to the YMCA, otherwise our friendly membership associates will complete this information with you upon arrival.
What You Will Receive
Each member (16 years and older) will receive one membership key tag. It is necessary to present your ID for admittance into the Y. If a member forgets his/her card, the member must verify membership with a photo ID. Replacement tags are $5. Membership cards are non-transferable. Any member who lends their card or assists a non-member in unauthorized access subjects their membership to revocation.

Guest Pass
The general public is welcome to visit our YMCA by purchasing a day pass. Each guest must present a valid photo ID and fill out a Guest Information Form. If this is your first time visiting, we will ask you to complete the guest form below. You may complete it prior to your arrival, otherwise, our friendly membership associates will complete this information with you at the YMCA.

Do you offer different types of memberships?

What are your age policies for the youth and adult locker rooms?
Individuals under 16 years of age MUST use the girls and boys locker rooms. An additional changing area is also available on the pool deck. This can be accessed by walking through the locker room or asking the Front Desk to open the main pool door located in the lobby.
Can non-members access the Y?
Yes! A day fee is charged that includes access to group exercise classes and facilities just like Y members. All guests must register at our Front Desk and fill out a Guest Information form. To see our current day fee rates based on your situation, please view our rates. Please bring a valid photo I.D. Youth (18 and under) must have a parent present for their first time registering to complete the Guest Information form.
How do I become a member?

What happens if I lose my membership key tag?
No worries. Lost key tags can be replaced at the Front Desk for a $5 fee.
How do I cancel, change or put my membership on hold?
A membership can be put on hold for a maximum of 3 months, one time within a 12 month period of time. If you terminate your membership, the joiner fee will be waived if you rejoin within 3 months from your last membership draft payment. After that time, the joiner fee will apply. Do I have to sign any long-term contracts?
No! YMCA membership is on a flexible monthly basis.
How do I pay for a membership?
Payment is by monthly bank draft on the 1st or 15th of the month.
Do you have Joiner Fees?
Yes. YMCA charges a one-time joiner fee. Visit our rates page for more information. In addition, we can put your membership on hold for up to three months. However, if you rejoin AFTER the three month grace period, than you will be charged another joiner fee.
How much does a membership cost?
Membership fees vary based on needs. In addition, we offer a variety of discounted memberships. We also will never deny anyone access to the YMCA if they are unable to afford membership. We offer a Financial Assistance program to help with these needs.
Do you offer 24/7 access to your Wellness Center?
Yes! We are pleased to offer our active adult members ages 18+ with convenient, year-round access to our 24/7 Lake Geneva fitness center only. Members must apply for 24/7 fitness center access at our Front Desk. Learn more about this process here.
Can Y members bring a guest?
Yes! A Day Pass may be purchased to use the facility. All guests must register and pay at our Front Desk. Please bring a valid photo I.D. Youth (18 and under) must have a parent present for their first time registering to complete the Guest Information and Waiver.
