We Have a Foundation

Since 1883, the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA has been a pillar of home and strength in our community. The YMCA looks to the future where we can continue to nurture and develop children, offer a place where adults can proactively take care of their health and where teens have a safe, encouraging environment. By creating and managing the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA Foundation, it allows for donors to do more for their favorite cause by allowing their generosity to last forever for future generations. 

Ways to Give to the Foundation

Many friends of the Y choose to gift some of their assets they have accumulated to the YMCA. Giving to a Foundation can look differently for every person. Planned giving to this Foundation can help ensure that the YMCA will have funds for future generations. Ways to give include:

• Donate a one time or recurring cash gift to the Foundation
• Donate "In Memory of" or "In Honor" of someone
• Include the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA Foundation in your Will or name the Foundation as a recipient of the remainder of the estate
• Contribute appreciated assets, such as stock, real estate or personal property to the Foundation
• Purchase a life insurance policy naming the Foundation as beneficiary
• Establish a Charitable Reminder Trust with the Foundation
