My Y Week | Dec 1-7, 2025
My Y Week launches our community Annual Giving Campaign. This is a great time to make Geneva Lakes Family YMCA your Charity of Choice! Our goal for this week is $5,000. Can we reach it? Sure..with your help!
With donations we receive this week and throughout the year, we are able to support:
- Financial Assistance
- Free Summer Grab N Go lunches
- Dream Team baseball for individuals who have special needs
- Rock Steady Boxing, a fitness program for adults who have Parkinson's disease
- Safety Around Water a free drowning prevention program for Walworth County second graders
- Y Times, a free after school program for 6th-8th graders to hang out at the Y, make new friends and enjoy the activities the Y has to offer - participants do NOT need to be a YMCA member
What can you do?
There is so much happening this week! Participate in all or some of these activities. All proceeds benefit the YMCA!

Check out our Window War displays. Designed by some talented members of the Y. Vote for your favorite window by putting some change/dollars in the collection jars. The window with the most money...wins!
Take a look at the book, "Make It a Life Worth Living" by Barry Moschel. This easy to read, inspirational book will be available all week for a special price of $15/per book.
Monday, December 1| Miles for Mission
Sign up for our Miles for Mission Challenge
Get a Blood Pressure Screening | 10 am-12 noon
Eat at Culvers between 10 am-11 pm and the YMCA will receive 10% of sales that day. No flyer or membership card needed. Just tell friends and family.
Tuesday, December 2 | Giving Tuesday
Blood Drive 8:30 am-1 pm. Give blood and receive a coupon for Culver's Custard.

Donate $10 or more and your name will be entered into a special drawing.
Select an ornament off of our Giving Tree that is found in the YMCA lobby and make someone's Christmas special.
Wednesday, December 3 | Paddles Up
Sign up to participate in our 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament from 11 am-2 pm.
Get a Blood Pressure Screening | 10 am-12 noon
Thursday, December 4 | Bake Sale
Cookie Walk from 10 am-2 pm in the YMCA Lobby | Cookie donations welcomed!
Friday, December 5 | Christmas Pajama Party
This is a free community event from 5:30-7 pm. Come in your festive pajamas and enjoy an evening of crafts, fun activities, a hot cocoa station and a visit from Santa.
Saturday, December 6 | Parade
The City of Lake Geneva is having their parade at 5 pm. Come bring in the holiday spirit and check out the YMCA float!
Sunday, December 7 | Buona Beef
Eat at Buona Beef between 10:30 am-10 pm and the YMCA will receive 20% of sales. The flyer below MUST be shown for the YMCA to receive credit for your sale.
