Geneva Jumpstart Play School

 

 

NEW! AFTERNOON PRESCHOOL OFFERING

Starting in September, the YMCA will be offering Geneva Jumpstart Play School, an afternoon 3K Preschool Program that provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. Through hands-on experiences, children develop socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and creatively, while building confidence and independence.

PROGRAM GOALS

Social-Emotional Development
Children will foster positive relationships with peers and adults alongside helping children identify, express and regulate their emotions. Our classroom will encourage cooperation, empathy, kindness, and respect for others and the world around them.

Learning Through Play
Children will be provided with open-ended play experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. This encourages imagination through dramatic play, building, sensory exploration, art, and outdoor activities.

Physical Development and Healthy Living
We will promote healthy habits, movement, and wellness through supporting gross (active indoor and outdoor play) and fine (art, manipulatives, sensory activities, self-help tasks and motor development.
